The bristles that make the difference
The Detangling Brush No D2 features bio-based nylon bristles of varying lengths, designed to work gently through both wet and dry hair.
The firm yet flexible bristles help detangle hair and knots without snagging, while the different lengths make it easier to work gently and effectively through the hair.
Together, they create a brush particularly suitable for thicker hair types, while still feeling gentle on both lengths and scalp.
The result is less tangling, fewer knots, less pulling, and a more comfortable experience for both hair and scalp.
The bristles are set in a flexible natural latex cushion base, providing maximum flexibility and gentle contact with the hair.
Care Brush No C2 is equipped with a combination of natural 100% first-cut boar bristles and bio-based nylon pins. This allows the brush to glide more easily through coarse, curly, or thicker hair.
Each individual bristle is placed at a different height in the flexible natural latex cushion. This provides a unique gliding effect, allowing the brush to move softly and efficiently through the hair without unnecessary pulling.
Because boar bristles consist of keratin, just like your own hair, they capture and distribute the scalp's natural oils evenly through the lengths. This provides intense shine, reduces frizz and static electricity, and leaves hair soft, healthy, and balanced.
The complete brushing ritual
For the best results, we recommend our simple two-step ritual:
Step 1 - Detangling
Start with your LULAB Detangling Brush No D2 on wet or dry hair.
Begin at the ends and work your way up to the roots, always detangling towards the ends. The flexible nylon fibres gently work through your hair, loosening knots without pulling.
The brush can also be used to evenly distribute styling products and leave-in treatments in the hair.
Step 2 - Care
Then use your Care Brush. Brush with gentle strokes from the roots towards the ends. The boar bristles evenly distribute your scalp's natural oils throughout the lengths – as nature intended.
50–100 gentle strokes provide the best oil distribution. It only takes a few minutes but makes a noticeable difference after just a few days.

Detangling Brush No D2 is designed to work with your hair instead of against it. This means fewer knots, less pulling, and less scalp irritation - both when your hair is wet after a wash and dry during the day.
When you brush with Care Brush No C2's natural boar bristles, you help distribute the scalp's natural oils from root to tip, while also making your hair feel shinier, less frizzy, and more balanced.

How to care for your hairbrush
A clean brush works better, lasts longer, and keeps your hair healthy.
Daily
Remove loose hairs with your fingers or a comb after each use.
Weekly Deep Cleaning (approx. 1 minute)
- Fill a bowl with warm water + mild shampoo.
- Dip only the bristles (not the wood) and move the brush in small figure-eights.
- Rinse thoroughly and press out excess water with a towel.
- Dry with the bristles facing downwards, ensuring they don't touch the surface so the bristles don't bend.
Tip: Place a rolled-up towel under the handle so the bristles don't touch the surface.

The Care brushes (No C1 and No C2) use boar bristles, which are a natural byproduct of the food industry. We have chosen boar bristles because no synthetic material can match the ability of keratin to capture and distribute the hair's natural oils.

Yes. You can choose your name, initials, or a short text. The engraving is done with a laser directly onto the olive wood in our laboratory in Denmark.
