ISOCHRYSIS GALBANA EXTRACT

Isochrysis galbana is a golden microalga a few thousandths of a millimeter across, cultivated in closed tanks rather than harvested from the sea. The method is called blue biotechnology and means light and nutrition can be controlled precisely, giving a consistent, clean raw material without burdening the marine environment.

The alga is unusually rich in omega fatty acids and proteins, and its effect begins at the hair root. The extract strengthens the tissue the follicle is anchored in, which means fewer hairs come loose in the brush and in the shower. New hair also grows out stronger, and over time this is felt as more body, particularly at the crown and along the parting.

Beyond the root, the extract works on the shaft itself, where it repairs breaks and smooths the surface. Hair becomes easier to detangle, wet and dry, and gains clearer shine.
