TRITICUM VULGARE GERM OIL

Wheat germ oil is pressed from the grain's sprout and is the richest natural source of vitamin E there is. It contains around 55 % linoleic acid, making it one of the most lipid-replenishing oils in hair care.

Linoleic acid is one of the fatty acids the hair's own outer lipid layer is built from. That layer holds the cuticle flat, and it breaks down through bleaching, coloring and heat styling. The oil steps in and replaces the lost fatty acids so the layer becomes whole again.

With a tight cuticle, hair draws less moisture from the air and frizz settles. Curls fall into a more cohesive shape, color pigments stay inside the shaft longer, and the brush glides through without resistance. The vitamin E content simultaneously protects both the oil itself and the hair against oxidation.
